Born in Saskatoon, Saskatchewan in 1958.  Attended University of Saskatchewan and obtained Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) in 1979 and Bachelor of Law (LL.B.) in 1982.  Admitted to the Saskatchewan Bar in 1983.  Practiced as a partner with Murphy & Murphy from 1992 to 2009.  Main areas of practice include Wills and Estates, Real Estate, Corporate and Family Law.

• Extensive involvement in Regina Community Basketball League and Regina Public School Division as head coach - 1991 - 2004
