Lorrie developed a love for basketball while attending high school. The Senior Girl’s Basketball team, of which she was a member, won back to back Provincial Championships. This love resulted in playing basketball for the University of Saskatchewan Huskies for two years and coaching in the Regina Community Basketball League for 13 years. Lorrie joined the partnership of Murphy & Murphy, established by her late father-in-law Bernard Murphy, in 1992 and worked side by side with her husband, Greg Murphy until 2009 when she joined kmpLAW.
Lorrie continues to attend to the Milestone branch office of kmpLAW on a regular basis to maintain the connection between the Milestone community and the Murphy family which was established by her late father-in-law Bernard. Lorrie loves to read, travel and spend time with her family.
